| Terms & Conditions of Business for Food 4 The Journey | |
1. |
Unless agreed otherwise, 15% deposit of the total function cost is required to secure the date, at the time of booking. A further 35% is due 1 week before the date of the booking. The balance is payable on the day of completion. You will be asked to sign a form to confirm and agree your requirements that we discuss. |

Any cancellations without 48 hours notice will be subject to payment in full. |
3. |
We require access to a kitchen with an oven at the venue where it is essential that the food is to be served piping hot. This is to ensure that the food is served in optimal condition. Where the menu indicates “best served hot” it should be noted that the food is nicer served hot or warm but can be served cold. |
4. |
We will provide your food at the time you specify. Whilst we will do everything to flexibly accommodate your requirements on the day and juggle any unforeseen circumstances, we will not accept liability for food irretrievably spoilt due to unreasonable time window expansions. |
5. |
All finger buffets (with the exception of children’s parties) have white paper plates and buttermilk and midnight blue napkins included in the price If you require another colour scheme this can be arranged at no extra charge. Fork buffets additionally have plastic cutlery included in the price. Prices for use of crockery and cutlery are available on request. |
6. |
Table coverings are not included in the price although we can arrange this upon request. Per table this is charged as follows:- Linen Cloth and Slipcover £2.25; Banqueting Roll & Slipcover £1.25. |
7. |
Food is delivered free of charge to one delivery address within 10 miles of our premises. Thereafter a £10.00 delivery charge is added to the total invoice. |
8. |
Our food is produced in an environment where nuts and/or nut products are used and therefore we do not recommend persons with nut allergies to eat any of the food we supply. Persons suffering from food allergies of ANY kind remain responsible for any food they eat that we supply. |
9. |
All dishes are labelled for the convenience of your guests. |
10. |
Our ‘back pack’ menu changes monthly and we reserve the right to substitute items to those stated in the unlikely event that we experience difficulties with supplies. |
